.christmas in SC part3.
Later that morning I went to visit a little girl that I taught when she was in 2nd grade, now she is in 7th, so that made me feel old! Then we did some shopping... Then rested up for a night out to eat, Christmas lights, and Hot-N-Now Krispy Kreme.

.christmas in SC part2.
On Monday morning we headed up to Greer to spend some time with several friends that we went to college with! It was so fun! Clay and Amber had their little girl, Kyley, the same day that HattieJo was born. Then my friend, Joanna, lives across the street from them and she has a little boy, Cooper, who is a little over 1 month old. We had such a great time catching up and eating some delicious breakfast! The girls had fun playing with each other til HattieJo got tired and was ready for her morning nap. HattieJo will say "CHEESE" as soon as she sees the camera! The rest of the day was filled with hanging out with my family until dinner time, Andrew's best friends, Patrick and Eric came over for dinner. HattieJo of course loved entertaining them! When they left HattieJo opened some of her Christmas presents from my family. HattieJo decided that she would open them up in her diaper until she opened a super cute dress from Aunt Bec that she wanted to put on for the rest of the present opening time!HattieJo was exhausted by the end of the night and slept so well!

:Merry Christmas:
Wishing y'all a Merry Christmas! May today be a sweet reminder of Jesus and His unconditional love for us, and the eternal life that we have because of Him.
"For to us a child is born, to us a son is given' and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6
"Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name, Immanuel, which means God with us." Matthew 1:23
"For in Him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell." Colossians 1:19
*Joy to the World*
No more let sins and sorrows grow,
Nor thorns infest the ground;
He comes to make His blessings flow
Far as the curse is found,
Far as the curse is found,
Far as, far as, the curse is found.
He rules the world with truth and grace,
And makes the nations prove
The glories of His righteousness,
And wonders of His love,
And wonders of His love,
And wonders, wonders, of His love.

.christmas in SC.
On Sunday, we enjoyed going to my family's church, the church I grew up in, and got to see all of their friends and LOTS of elderly people who remembered when I was HattieJo's age. They all said she was a "spitting image" of me! HattieJo looked adorable in her little Christmas dress that my dad had picked out for her, however the only picture we got was in the car on the way to church. After church we relaxed while my mom prepared lunch and my uncle and his side of the family joined us for lunch! After HattieJo's nap, Santa came early with a nice kitchen set for her! My dad said when he saw this in the store he just had to get it for her. She LOVED it and all the noises that it made. She has been playing with it constantly since we got home too!
After a delicious pizza dinner my parents neighbor, Bon Bonn, came down. Bon Bonn has been my parents "backdoor neighbor" for 26 years, so she has watched Rebekah and I grow up! She loves us as we were her own children. She got HattieJo a HUGE stuffed animal bear and HattieJO snuggled him while she opened her other gifts. We had a packed first day, but it was so fun!

:Christmas at the Hopper House:
Here are a few highlights our our Christmas decorations....
*the tree.... Our tree is awesome! It is HUGE, fake, and prelit! On the tree are all special ornaments. Each year growing up my parents and Andrew's parents gave us each an ornament that was special to something in our lives that year, then when we got married, we got all our ornaments! So those decorate our tree along with the ornaments that we have gotten for HattieJo the past 2 years. I am so excited to start this tradition for her.

:Thanksgiving Part 1:
Andrew fried us a turkey this year and it was DELICIOUS! So on Wednesday night he had to rub the turkey down with some cajun rub.... little did we know that it would have the WHOLE fridge and freezer smelling like cajuns the next morning! On Thursday morning we woke up BRIGHT AND EARLY to head to Wake Forest, for the Gobbler Run. I have ran this the past 2 years, but thought it would be fun to have my sister do it with me this year, and since she isn't a runner we just walked it! It was still so fun!Andrew even brought along Hoss! HattieJo did a great job riding and watching until about mile 2 and she had had enough, so I thought what the heck it's not like we are trying to finish this in a certain amount of time... I am getting her out. So the little thing walked the last mile! She had a blast! At one point she got tired and just sat down in the middle of the road (didn't have my camera). Needless to say she took a GREAT nap when we got home.
