HattieJo LOVES to sing. So the other day she found(got from under the bathroom sink) two things(portable lent brushes) that looked like microphones and got to singing and dancing! This little girl brings so much joy and laughter to us!

:Virginia Beach:

Last weekend, Andrew had the opportunity to preach for First Presbyterian of Augusta, GA. We met the group in Virgina Beach Friday night and hung out with them until Monday morning. It was so much fun meeting the youth and their leaders. HattieJo had a blast with 4 other kids that were there (their dad was the associate pastor). We got to stay in the same hotel, share meals together, fun time together, and Andrew shared the Gospel with them 4 times over the weekend. On Saturday we went with them to the Virginia Beach Aquarium and HattieJo LOVED all the "fish, fish, fish."
After the aquarium we went back to relax at the hotel while the group went whale watching. Then we met them at Captain George's Seafood for a delicious dinner. On Sunday Andrew preached the service in the morning then we had the whole day to hang out. We enjoyed a walk on the beach, the indoor pool, play time in the hotel room, visiting a Confederate memorial, and some shopping!
Our hotel didn't have a bathtub, so bath time each night was done sink side! HattieJo was too big to fit in the sink, but she sure did enjoy the sink bath!

:fun in the snow:

When we returned from Florida, there was still several inches of snow on the ground in several spots around the farm, so we played in it for a bit! HJ wasn't too sure about it at first, then grew very fond of it!

.FL Christmas part3.

On Tuesday HattieJo and I went shopping with Pammie and Allie in the fancy part of town which was a lot of fun! Then we just relaxed the rest of the day.
Wednesday was spent down at Grandpap's house. It was so good to see him. I love that he always asks Andrew's mom, "hows that HattieJo doing?" He was very excited to see her! We played and played in the front yard before we had some pizza for lunch then we headed down to the pond for some adventures and fishing! We even got to ride in the back of Poppas truck to the pond.

.FL Christmas part2.

On Monday we went to Chickfila for the "cousin's Christmas".... All of Andrew's cousins on his mom's side of the family exchange names and then have a party to give the gifts. This year HattieJo had Allie Jo's name and Sam had HattieJo. Sam's mom, Michelle, is an AMAZING seamstress. She made HattieJo a quilt/playmat that is awesome! After the cousins party we had fun playing outside at Gigi and Poppas house. HattieJo enjoyed walking to the mailbox with them and playing with Poppas dog, TL.
After HattieJo's nap she played the guitar with Poppa then we headed over to visit and have dinner with the CollinsFive.

HattieJo had so much fun playing with the 3Collins boy cousins! She ran wild with them and gave them LOTS of loving. It was so cute to watch them all interact, she doesn't quite hold her own as well as little Ryan does with the big boys. HattieJo and Ryan even put on a rock concert with the drum set for us all.
It was such a fun day spent with LOTS of Florida family!

.FL Christmas part1.

So the day after Christmas Andrew was set to preach at the Summit for the 2 morning services, then we were going to hit the road headed south for a few days... Well the glorious snow decided to arrive over night and this is what we woke up to...Yep, thats right 7inches of snow and it was still coming down! So the Summit services were canceled and we loaded up and hit the road.... CRAZINESS...Living out in the country the roads were TERRIBLE, it took us 2 hours to get to I-95 (normally would have taken about 50mins.). The Lord totally put a hedge of protection around us and Andrew did great driving with the help of his copilot, Lucy! We made it to FL in about 9 1/2 hours which wasn't terrible considering the weather! HattieJo did an amazing job!! Thanks to some AMAZING friends, who gave her a DVD player for Christmas, she was quite entertained. When we arrived to Andrew's parents house, we had HJ in her "big sister" shirt. They came out the door and immediately saw the shirt and we so excited, HJ just started clapping her hands in excitement. After we ate a delicious soup dinner, we went to Andrew's sisters house to share the news with them. It was so great to see TheCollinsFive! Then we came back to Gigi and Poppa's house to open some gifts before bedtime!
*I know HJ's head is cut off in one of these pictures, but I was trying to get the AWESOME quilt that Gigi had made for HJ with 12 of her onesies that were from her 1st year of life, and the fabric around the onesies is the sock monkey fabric that her 1year old dress was made from!*

:Christmas Day:

HattieJo slept in til 7:45, I was up and waiting on her! Now her normal morning routine is to wake up and have her cup of milk in the bed with us or on the couch snuggled with me, but not this morning. She was ready to dig into the gifts! We came down the stairs and she immediately went to the living room. I had put together her baby stroller the night before and tied a ribbon on it... we had to hide it in order for her to open her other goodies! After we had opened our gifts we bundled up to go out on the porch for the playhouse! She was so excited about it. She loved ringing the doorbell, open and closing the door, washing her hands in the sink, and peeking in and out of the windows! We had such a fun day as a family. Then we packed our bags because on Sunday we headed south to visit our family in Florida! Stay tuned for our adventures.....
