.7months.

HattieJo was 7months old on Friday. Time is FLYING by.. She is changing so fast!HattieJo,
Mommy and Daddy can't believe how much you are changing each day. You continue to remind us what a precious gift life is and we are thankful that the Lord blessed us with you! You LOVE sitting up and are doing a great job sitting up for long periods of time. You are started trying to scoot yourself using your legs when you sit up. You are making all kinds of noises all the time and trying your hardest to talk and tell us something! You have started saying, "mamama...mama.." its so cute. Daddy said that you have even directed it to me when I have walked out of the room from you. Your smile still lights up a room and is so sweet! We continue to have people ask us when we are out if you are always such a happy girl, to which we reply YES! We have started oatmeal and you are a BIG fan of it in the mornings. This past week we started sweet potatoes and you ate them up with no trouble! You are growing too- you are wearing 9mths in your clothes! BIG HEALTHY GIRL! Your hair is even starting to grow.. you can wear your small hairbows with no headband!
Mommy and Daddy love you!

.Welcome to Moe's.

One night while my family was in town we went to Moe's for dinner. It happened to be on Kid's Night,so we got the lady to make HattieJo (really me since she can't make them for kids under 2) a nice balloon flower! After we had dinner Andrew and I headed to church for a Believe meeting and the family came home to put HattieJo down for bed. Grandaddy read her her bedtime story.

Last Tuesday was HattieJo's 6month appointment even though she is almost 7months old. She was a CHAMP like always. She had to get 3 shots. UGH. Here are her stats:
Weight: 19.5 lbs. (90%)
Length: 27 3/4in. (95%)
Head: was off the charts! she's going to be smart!!

:I LOVE my aunt Bec:

Last week my family came up to help us move! It was Bec's spring break and she had been planning since last year to come spend her break with us and keep HJ. (She is such a planner!). Little did we know it would work out so well with us trying to move too! So here is a sneak peek at their time. More to come later... I am still trying to get the internet working at the new house!

.the history lessons begin.

Andrew's undergrad degree was in History. He still really enjoys history. When he was in Jacksonville, FL for the Pastor's Conference with JD this year he visited the Confederate War Memorial that is downtown. When he came home he decided that anytime we were in a city that had a Confederate War Memorial that he wanted to visit it and have his picture with HattieJo at it! SO.. while we were in Memphis, we visited the Nathan Bedford Forrest one! Here we are: (HattieJo was snoozing!)

.wardrobe malfunction.

This past Friday was daddy day.. As I do for every daddy day, I had everything he would need for the day all laid out. Well, when I got home from school HattieJo was pantless and her shirt was on backwards!!!! BLESS HIM! hahaha.. The funny thing about the shirt was the buttons were in the front and the bow was in the back! Here she is:

.our crazy weekend.

Well we are in the midst of moving. We are moving out to a 60acre farm and will be living in an awesome farmhouse (its a dream home for me!!!)...I will post pictures soon.. So my parents came up this weekend to help us move some stuff and brought up my dining room table. On Friday night we moved some stuff that they had brought up from SC and then Andrew and I headed to the marriage conference at our church for the evening. It was AMAZING. Here are a few quotes from the speaker:
*marriage=2 flawed people+ 1 fallen world+ 1 powerful God
*Romance is a result, NOT a cause
*What rules your heart will control your behavior-Luke6:43-45
*The DNA of sin is selfishness
*The fruit in your life depends on your roots-Luke6:43-45
Then we came home to hang out for a bit with my parents then off to bed.
Saturday morning we woke up bright and early and headed back to the church until lunch time for more of the conference. Here are a few more quotes from Paul Tripp:
*As long as there is sin in me, I carry around something that is destructive to relationships.
*God will take you where you haven't intended to go to produce in you what you couldn't on your own.
*Love= a willing self sacrifice for the good of another that doesn't demand reciprocation or that the person being loved is deserving.
*True love is born out of gratitude not duty.
While we were at the conference my family kept (spoiled) HattieJo!
Then Saturday night Andrew had the awesome opportunity to preach at our church. He did an amazing job. He really challenged the people to lay aside your preferences and freedoms in order to reach other people for Christ. When we got home "uncle Ken" and Stevie came to spend the night too and visit with us and to pick up some dogs!
On Sunday morning we woke up for some good breakfast casserole and donuts! YUMMY! Then we played, played, and played. Then we packed up a load and carried it to the new house. More to come! Sorry for the LONG post! (Just a little taste of our crazy, but good life!)

.EVERY girl needs a pocket book.

My mom, "grandmama", LOVES purses... she has TONS of them. She LOVES changing them out everyday for one to match her outfit. So she bought HattieJo her first purse. She brought it for her when we were in TN... So now she has a purse. All she wanted to do was put it in her mouth! But I am sure it won't be long and she will be keeping it full of stuff!

:one HOT chick:

While we were in TN for the wedding my parents and Andrew were pretty much in charge of HattieJo for a good bit of the time. On Saturday morning after we had breakfast my dad and I went walking with HattieJo for a bit, then I had to get ready for the wedding. While I was getting ready Dad and Andrew took off to find a flea market, of course Andrew was the master mind behind that idea! So Aunt Bec helped me with HattieJo. Then they were all in charge of her once I headed over to the church for pictures and such. Above is a picture that they took while I was gone! I LOVE it.. Those are my moms glasses and the toy is one from when I was a little girl that my mom still had! Fun times!!

.wedding weekend.

When we arrived on Friday we had a little down time before we headed to the bridal luncheon. Here are a few pictures from the luncheon:
Here are a couple of collages of pictures from the rehearsal dinner and then the wedding:

We had a great weekend with my family and with our friends! We were able to make connections with several people who we knew people that they knew, etc. Andrew was able to make some ministry connections which is always a great thing. He had a great time talking with guys of like minded ministry. What a blessing. It was so neat to see Jessica and Chad as well.. They had made a video of their story, it was precious. A testimony to their faithfulness in seeking the Lord. So thankful for great friends who love the Lord and seek Him!

.leavin' on a jet plane.

Well, we headed out on Friday morning at 640am to go to TN for one of my best friends' wedding! I was SO NERVOUS about flying with HattieJo, but she did AMAZING! We were so thankful. We had so many people praying for us and we truly felt the prayers. Here she is with our ticket:
She made fast friends with the guy sitting beside Andrew and then the two little girls who were sitting in front of us as well:

Comment of the flight..this lady sitting behind me the whole time was talking about how beautiful HattieJo was and what a great baby she was, then when we were getting off she said, "ma'am I hate to tell you this, but she is going to be bigger than you are, and that won't be long." Well thank you ma'am! haha
