2012: a year in review

Happy New Year!

What a year it has been for the Hoppers! Here are some of the highlights of our year:
*my sister moved in last January to be our nanny-FABULOUS
*ended time on staff at the Summit
*we moved to GSO
*started Mercy Hill Church (September)
*started new jobs (Andrew full time pastor of MH and Anna 2nd grade teacher at local school)
*AP turned 1
*AP FINALLY started sleeping through the night.. PRAISE JESUS!
*HJ turned 3
*Andrew traveled ALOT preparing for our move to GSO
*became horse people (love our miss lady lily)
*HJ played in her first soccer season
*HJ got her FIRST haircut (6inches)..a post to come
*I got my nose pierced (one of my students told his mom that I had a bolt put in my nose! haha)
*both kiddos personalities has totally blossomed
*grown a love for GSO- not just in ministry, but found it to be a great place for our family- God has been so gracious to us in that!
*being able to set and attain some health goals- LOVE the trails and the YMCA here
*meeting so many new friends here in GSO

We have so much to be thankful for. The Lord has provided for us every step of the way! We are so blessed! We are looking forward to what 2013 will hold for our family. We desire that the Lord be glorified in every area of our lives.

Here are a few things that we are looking forward to in 2013:
*potential house purchase- we love where we are renting though
*HJ starting preschool
*continued growth for MH- multiply small groups, new location, volunteer base growing, new people coming
