This past weekend we went to Fort Caswell for the Young Pros beach retreat. It was such a wonderful weekend! HattieJo did AMAZING! We headed down on Friday evening. On Saturday morning HattieJo woke up at 545, I didn't want to wake everyone up, so HattieJo and I went for a walk. It was gorgeous to see the sun rising above the ocean. What a picture of the beauty of God's creation. HattieJo helped me get breakfast cooked and set up for when everyone woke up! Then we had a great time of worship with everyone. Then headed to the beach for the day. The weather was PERFECT, there was a great breeze with the sun. HattieJo enjoyed sitting under the umbrella watching everyone playing and chatting. After we had lunch HattieJo and I hung out at the house for a bit before heading back out to the beach in the late afternoon. The water was still chilly, so HattieJo wasn't interested in getting in the water.We had a great time of connecting with lots of new young pros at the Summit and we were so thankful for the time of intimate worship through singing and time in the word. We headed home on Sunday to get some rest before the week got started.
