Well when we went to bed on Friday night, there was a slight dusting of snow on the ground, but when we woke up this morning, we had about 7inches!!!! It was GORGEOUS. What a beautiful picture of God's handiwork. So I made us some waffles and bacon to get our day started then we cleaned a bit and played inside because it was sleeting. About lunchtime we went over to "aunt d" house along with several of our other friends to play in the snow. So us girls played in the snow attempting to build a snowman, but the snow was too powdery, so we made snow angels. I bundled HattieJo up and took her out for a few pictures, then she went back inside to hang out with the boys. They were all gathered around the fire playing a game. Here are some pictures of our fun first day of being snowed in!!!
