Cousins Camp: Day 1

FIRST ANNUAL COUSINS' CAMP
JULY 1 - JULY 5, 2013
GUEST BLOGGER: Gigi
Camp Theme:  Love one another  John 13:34

Years ago I heard James Dobson talking about the annual cousins' camp his wife hosts for her grandchildren.  I thought what an amazing idea (and I did not have any grandchildren yet)!  Perry and  I love our grandchildren and our prayer for them is to love the Lord and come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ at an early age.  We also desire that they love one another.  So let Cousins' Camp begin!
These are our camp t-shirts.  Yes we wore them everyday (and yes I laundered them every night).  We attracted a lot of attention on our outings but when you have 2 three year olds and 2 six year olds having them in the same shirt makes them easier to spot and keep track of!

On July 1st, Poppa and I and the Collins 3 met the NC Hoppers at Cracker Barrell in Santee SC for brunch.  Requirements of our camp was campers must be potty trained and be able to be away from mommy and daddy for a few nights.  AP did not qualify this year but next year is coming!
The men after a good meal.  They are soooo handsome!
Our first adventure was Whirlin Waters Adventure Water Park.
We had a blast! Floated down the lazy river several times, played in the wave pool, the bigs slid down the big slide and the littles played in Otter Bay.
Ryan with Poppa after the giant bucket of water pulled his bathing suit off.  Ryan laughted and said "I disappeared in that water"!
We spent the night in Charleston.  Here they are decorating visors for our boat trip the next  morning.
Dylan showing off his visor in a football stance!

Reading bedtime story at the hotel.  I am so happy they all love a good book!
The precious angels settling down for the night-watching a little TV.

*the rest of the week on the blog are the fun events of Cousins Camp 2013 documented by Gigi herself!*
