 ..what a night.. PURE EXCITEMENT!. So thankful for such a huge successful launch. We celebrate the fact that the Lord brought 250 adults and 17 kids from GSO to worship with us on Sunday night! ...I know you are anxiously awaiting an update from Sunday night.... One phrase (said by a girl at our community group last night that I thought was AWESOME description of Sunday night) sums up Sunday night sooooo well.. "GOD WAS ON THE MOVE!"

GOOOO TARHEELS!

So HJ has officially started soccer! She has had 2 practices and had her frist game on Saturday! She is a HOOT let me tell you. She is the youngest on her team, but you wouldn't know it because she is just as big or bigger than all her teammates. Here are a few pictures from the night we met her team and coaches. Her team name is the TARHEELS. More to come on her practices and first game!

 If you read this today (Sunday) please stop and pray for the launch of our church! Tonight we will meet at 6 for the first "official" service of Mercy Hill. We are beyond excited and can't wait to see what the Lord is going to do in and through His people at Mercy Hill to reach the people here in Greensboro. Please pray that we make much of Christ, that people that are far from God will come and hear the Gospel and find a community of believers. Pray that people who may have religion, but not a relationship will come and that any distractions would be removed so that they may hear and see the truth clearly. Pray for Andrew as he proclaims the Gospel that he would be God's mouthpeice!

today i am SO THANKFUL for two things::

* my DEAR DEAR BEST FRIEND Danielle... this girl has taught me so much about life, loving/serving people, loving/trusting the Lord, cooking, and the list could go on and on... now she is serving overseas with her hubby, son, and baby in the womb!..they are living among a people who don't know Christ..learning to love them and share Christ with them! AMAZING!!! I met Danielle several years ago while our hubbies were in seminary...they moved next door to us for a year and it was a BLAST having them right there beside us all the time...so many fun memories were made that i am so grateful for...we shared many meals, laughs, cries, talks, runs, walks, and stories! today is her birthday! Happy Birthday Aunt D we love you!

** my parents!- tomorrow is their 38th wedding anniversary..that is something that you don't hear often these days. i am thankful for their love for one another and how they raised me in a Christian home....Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad!
