:Camp Willow Run:

Several weekends ago, Andrew had the opportunity to go back to Camp Willow Run and preach one of their "Super High Weekends." It's a weekend where about 190 students from different churches come together for good eating, fun times outdoors, and a great time of worship each day! Camp Willow Run is so neat. All of the "dorms" are boxcars.. it was so fun to stay in a boxcar for the weekend! HattieJo had a great time running around all over the place. We didn't get to hear Andrew speak any, but we enjoyed being with the students for meals, worship through song, and Saturday afternoon with all the outdoor activities.

.sharing.

HattieJo is really into sharing things(most of the time its food) these days! Now she sometimes is an indian giver, but majority of the time she does great.... I serve in her classroom at church during our second service and its been so neat to see her interacting with other kids her age. We are working on her sharing toys with them!

:bed head:

You know you have had a good Sunday afternoon nap when you wake up with wild woman hair! That was HattieJo and I the other Sunday. We both rested well and that's all that mattered to us, but Andrew found it quite funny and had to catch a picture of us.

This is a blue dress that was my mom's, then I wore it, my sister wore it, then HattieJo wore it. So here we all are in the famous blue dress. Notice the difference in the ages that it was worn! Mom's picture is in black and white, does that tell her age??? hahaha! Love you mom!

.party animal.

Like I have said before, HattieJo LOVES a party. The girl loves to be in a crowd, watching people, chasing other little kids, and entertaining anyone that will pay her any attention. These things work out great with being in the ministry, because she is always around people! She does so great and we are so blessed. Last Friday night we had a "Prelude to Thanksgiving" dinner with the Young Pros. It was a potluck and it was delicious. We had about 60 people piled into one of the young pros home. It was a blast. HattieJo quickly found the microphone for the guys RockBand game and began singing for us all. Here is our little diva...(watch out American Idol!)Funniest thing of the night was when Allison, pictured above, was eating HattieJo walked over to her plate and stood there... Allison turned her head and HattieJo promptly grabbed the cheese biscuit off her plate and proceeded to eat it and walk around. Then when there was only a bite left, she came back and put it on Allison's plate again.. PRICELESS!
Pretty sure we were breaking some kind of fire code all piled into this house. But it sure was fun!

.sweet small group friends.

The Strothmann's are an AMAZING couple that is in our small group! They are awesome. We love spending time with them. Not to mention they LOVE HattieJo and she loves them! Mr. Steve is a man, that loves projects, so the other night him and Andrew decided that they would build a wooden box for Andrew's 4wheeler! So HattieJo and I tagged along and got to hang out with Mrs. MaryAnne, then we ate a delicious dinner. We are so thankful for friends that the Lord has blessed us with here at the Summit.

.more fun with friends.

One night last week we had the small group's pastor and his family over for dinner. They have 2 small boys, so HattieJo loved having them over to play with her. She was so proud when we asked if she wanted to go upstairs, she was showing off all her toys and squealing and talking the whole time. The cool thing about the Sheltons is that they have been our friends since we moved up here. They were in the 1st small group that we were in, until they moved and planted a new group! So it has been neat to see how both of our lives have changed in moving, having kiddos, etc. We count them as dear friends and love to spend time with them when we can!

.fall in the hopper house.

On Sunday mornings we usually go grocery shopping because it is NOT crowded, it is WONDERFUL! That is just another reason that I LOVE our Saturday Night Campus. So last Sunday Andrew decided that he wanted pumpkin pie for dessert after Sunday lunch. Well, I don't exactly like or eat pumpkin pie, therefore I don't make it. So I bought all the ingredients and after lunch we made it a family affair and made a pumpkin pie. HattieJo LOVES pumpkin pie. Every time that Andrew would eat some she would come running with her mouth open like a little bird and then she would SMACK her lips as she ate it!

.CWR.

The Friday before Halloween (why HJ is wearing her BOO shirt!), Andrew had the opportunity to go to Camp Willow Run and preach for the students from our church. So HattieJo and I got to go along. We had a great time hanging out with Holt and Katie (JGaston's, the youth pastors, family). It was so fun watching HattieJo try to keep up with Holt and Holt would just yell, "HattieJo, HattieJo, HattieJo." She was worn out once she got in her pj's for the ride home! She even snuck her a kiss when she was telling Holt bye bye!

.an apple a day, keeps the doctor away.

So we like to refer to HattieJo as the "fridge monster" these days, because anytime you open the fridge she comes running ready to dig in and see what she can pull out and tote around! So the other day she got in the fridge and pulled out an apple. So I let her have it and just watched to see what she would do, keeping in mind that I have never eaten an apple in front of her (I take them in my lunch for school). She proceeded to bite into it and eat the apple! It was hilarious. She was chowing down and loving every bite.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this picture of her HUGE smile.

:trip to Western NC:

Andrew and I are exploring church planting options through the Summit. As such, major cities in NC are top priority. We have committed to visiting and talking with people in these places this year. Here is our trip to Ashville NC and surrounding communities.
On Monday, we enjoyed a delicious lunch in Downtown Asheville. Then we strolled around in and out of the shops. After several more meetings, we stayed the night in Sylva, NC and I am pretty sure we were the only people staying in the hotel?!?!?! Nevertheless, it was fun and we enjoyed it! HattieJo was such a trooper. We were in and out of the car for 2 days and she did GREAT! We were so thankful. Please pray for us as we seek what the Lord has in store for our family in the future.

:Happy Halloween:

HattieJo was a sweet little leopard for Halloween. She was TOO CUTE in her costume. She had a blast trick or treating. We went over to the Eggletons for some pizza, then we dressed the kiddos up and headed out. HattieJo would walk up to the houses (holding my hand as she was a little uncertain of all the people buzzing around her) and hold out her pumpkin! She loved being able to look at all the other kids and everyone else that was out and about.
I love how in this next picture set that HattieJo is holding the hand sanitizer in the first one and then in the second one she has dropped it and proceeded to touch sweet Levi!

I love this last photo of the guys pushing the kiddos!

Don't worry, HattieJo did get to eat one pack of candy, she THOUROUGHLY enjoyed the pack of fruit snacks. Then she decided it was best to dump out and play with all the rest of her candy! She even tried to sneak Levi a little taste.
