.Fall.

 I was so ready to decorate for fall as soon as we had the first slight change in temperatures (the first week in September), but Andrew talked me into waiting until last weekend to decorate. It was fun though. HJ was all in to helping me get everything just right!

I have already made a pumpkin pie, pecan pie, and my favorite fall mix (m&m's, candy corn, and peanuts) and the pumpkin candles are burning!

.Preschool has STARTED!.

I knew the day was coming, but I don't know how ready I was for it. The week before she started Andrew and I went to her open house and it became so real! It was weird for me being on the other side of an open house, when for so many years I have been the one in front of the parents! She went the next day for 45minutes to see her room, meet her teachers, and get to know some of her classmates. Andrew took her since I was in school and said she was following all the directions and loving every minute of it... She goes three mornings a week and loves it! Her teachers say she is doing great!

At the beginning of the summer (I know I am behind with blogging!).... Andrew and I went to Houston, TX for a week with the NAMB for the SBC. It was such a great time to be around other church planters from North America. It was a sweet time away together and then to also catch up with other church planters that were sent out from the Summit in RDU. While we were gone, the kids went down to my parents house. They had such a great time (as always!). So thankful for a sister who is willing to travel with them and then for my parents!

Happy Birthday Mercy Hill!

 One year ago today, we all had butterflies as we prepared to launch our first service! We had been meeting over the summer, but this was the day we were praying for....the Lord totally blew us away with all the people that He brought to hear the Gospel preached! This past year has been incredible to see all that the Lord has done in and through the people of Mercy Hill. I am so thankful that He has called us to be a part of His mission here in GSO. So here we are a year later praying expectantly again as we have our Fall Launch/1year birthday celebration services tonight! So if you are reading this and you are in the Triad, we would LOVE for you to come be a part of what God is doing.
