.poppa.

Poppa brought HJ home from cousins camp and was able to stay several days. The kids had so much fun. AP especially loved making music with poppa! Andrew enjoyed having him here...they rode horses everyday!

.camp.

This past week Andrew was preaching a camp in Laurel Springs, NC. So the kids and I joined him for several days. They had a blast as always!

these two were FAST friends! he even gave her flowers everyday!

.parade.

We went to the 4th of July parade in GSO with the Dagers, just like last year, except we were missing HJ this year (she was partying it up down in FL with all the cousins!).

The night before the 4th our community group met up downtown to set up the diaper changing station that our church was going to be hosting/working during the day on the 4th for all the festivities. AP was hard at work helping put the tent together or rather just scattering the pieces as the guys worked!

.Cousins Camp.

The week of July 4th, HattieJo spent the week in Florida with Andrew's family for the first annual Cousins Camp! This had been a dream of his parents and it came to fruition! AP wasn't invited because he is too attached to momma to be gone a whole week. The night before it all began this was the email from Andrew's mom:

Here is our schedule:

Monday 630 am leave for Santee SC tp pick upHattieJo Spend Monday in Charleston area and spend the night there

Tuesday 930 go on 2hour boat tour of the marsh; pick up shells; Have lunch on Folly Beach then head to gigi house 

Wed  St Aug Alligator Farm

Thurs celebrate 4th with Independence Day Parade swimming at gpap's then a cook outat the collins mrc to provide pyro show (we will all remain a very safe distance back)

Fri travel to Savannah to see Poppa & HJ off

In between events we will have recreation (poppa is rec director) and a few crafts (gigi craft lady) and cart rides with Jaxman

It is our prayer that our precious grandbabies will love the Lord and each other always.

I was so excited for this camp! HJ was beside herself about it and was so glad to be going alone with no mommy, daddy, or AP.  Here are a couple of pics that I snapped before we left the Cracker Barrell:

.friends.

HattieJo and AP made some friends at camp. This sweet family run the camp (the father's parents started the camp 45 years ago!)....so they live here during the summer. HJ and AP loved running around and doing everything that Eli and Thad were doing. The boys were so sweet to include them. They boys are 9 and 7.

.Camp Willow Run.

For the past several years Andrew has had the opportunity to go and preach for the high school week at camp. We love going with him! This year it overlapped with the time I was in Indy for a school conference, so the kids and I went to camp Tuesday thru Friday and had an absolute blast! The kids were wide open the whole time. They loved everything about it... fishing, swimming in the lake, hanging out with the students, spending time with a family that lives at camp, eating ice cream, yummy food, sleeping in bunk beds in the box car, and everything else! They were exhausted at nap time and then bedtime each day.
