.Trip to FL part1.

So last week we headed to Florida to visit Andrew's family for a few days! It was a quick, but great trip! We flew and HattieJo did an amazing job flying. She was talking to everyone on the plane and making friends left and right. She LOVED looking at all the "panes" at the airport and the "tractors" that we driving all over the runways. *She is saying "peace" in he picture with the sunglasses!*She was excited to see her "gigi and poppppaaa" at the airport. The whole way to their house, she kept saying, "popppaaa" in a cute raspy voice! Wednesday we hung out and played in yard with the dogs, the hammock, and the sandbox. On Thursday we went to the zoo (part2) and then on Friday we did some shopping and had a weinee roast with the whole family that night (part3).

.Spring Break part2.

My dad was able to come up Thursday thru Saturday and HattieJo was very excited to see him and spend time with him! They played outside, Grandaddy even got in the playhouse! Of course when Grandaddy comes around there has to be a couple shopping trips, so we shopped at Lowe's for paint for the nursery furniture, a consignment sale for clothes and toys, and then played at the park!

.Spring Break part1.

So my sister decided she wanted to spend her spring break up here with us! Which was PERFECT. HattieJo got a whole week with her Aunt Bec, and then since Grandmama didn't want to stay home alone, she came along too! They had a great time playing together, cleaning, eating, doing laundry, and playing some more. HattieJo was worn out at the end of each day. I am so thankful to have a sister who is willing to spend her spring break loving on our little girl!

My mom and sister brought with them an Easter gift for HattieJo from Bonn Bon. Bonn Bon is my parents back door neighbor, she has lived there since my parents moved in that house and she has watched and loved on me and my sister as we have grown up and she has done the same with HattieJo! Bonn Bon, your gift was and still is a hit! She LOVES the ears and LOVES to tote the basket around.

Had to be like Grandmama and get on her computer to do some work!

.We are back!.

The last 2 weeks have been WILD and on the go to say the least! My sister and mom were here week before last for the week(my dad came for the weekend!), then we were in FL last week from Wednesday to Saturday! The last 2 weeks have been packed with time with our families, which we were so thankful for. Here are a couple of pictures from the week my sister and mom were here. More to come later as well as pics from our time in FL.

"hat, hat, jacket, jacket"

The other morning we were headed out to play and I told HattieJo that it was chilly so we needed to put on her jacket. After I put on her jacket I was putting mine on and she went running off to our bedroom and returned with Andrew's hat on her head as she was saying, "hat, hat, hat." The girl knows where he keeps them and knows that when its cold she needs a hat!

This is what she does while I am cooking dinner each night. She is quite good and always wants me to try whatever it is she has created!

.More, More.

In the mornings while I am finishing up getting ready to head out the door I will give HattieJo some breakfast to eat while she watches, "OSO, OSO," (a cartoon on disney). When she finishes whatever she is eating she walks with her plate to wherever I am saying, "more, more, more" Her lips pucker as she says it and it is ADORABLE!

:boo boo:

She got her first legit scrapped up knee the other day. She was dressed so cute as we were out to eat with some friends. She took off running on the sidwalk area and fell and tore a hole in her leggings and got a nice scrapped up knee. My parents told me and I remember as a kid always having banged up knees, especially right before dance pictures and recitals!

I know I have said it before, but HattieJo truly LOVES her bathtime. As soon as you ask her if she is ready for a bath, she will say, "bath, bath, bath, clothes off, clothes off" as she runs to the bathroom! She has a blast splashing all around, pretending to be a fish, drinking the water, blowing bubbles, bathing her duck and herself, and squealing!

.puzzles.

HattieJo has recently becomed very interested and good at working puzzles. Her favorite one is her shapes. She does so well with it. She dumps it over then proceeds to twist and turn each shape until it fits into it's spot. I LOVED watching her figure it out on her own.

.daddy day gone wild.

So this is the picture that Andrew sent to me on a recent daddy day:
To which I replied, "cute... where are yall?" They were in the McDonald's playplace... Well HattieJo prior to this day had never crawled up into one of these playplaces, the next thing Andrew knew he was climbing up in the playplace to get HattieJo who thought it was a game and was going faster and up higher! Oh how I wish I could have been there to see 6'3" Andrew climbing in the playplace after squealing and laughing HattieJo! This girl is going to have some great memories of the fun days with her daddy.

25weeks/18months

I LOVE HattieJo's face in this picture and I have lazy eyes going on! hahaha

HattieJo's 18month stats are:

*height-34 3/4 inches(off the charts)

.sweet little levi.

While Andrew was gone a couple weeks ago, our dear friends, the Eggletons came over... Craig took care of the dogs for me and Danielle and Levi hung out with HJ and I! HattieJo loves, "weebii." She seems him weekly when Andrew and Craig both have "daddy day" on Fridays, they will hang out together!

.simple things.

Andrew and I often say its the simple things in life that we look forward to and enjoy.. It is so true. Here a few examples:

*4wheeler rides around the farm

*ice cream dates at McDonald's after dinner

*leaving on Saturday's a few minutes early so we can stop for a 99cents drink at the gas station

*laying around in the evenings just enjoying one another's company

*Sonic Happy Hour

I think this picture is a good example of HattieJo enjoying the simple things.. the bowl on her head and she shouts, "hhatt, hhat"

*I know she has had that heart shirt on in quite a few of the last posts... she does have other clothes! I just love that shirt and she needed to wear it around Valentine's Day! haha*

LocoPops

YUMMY!!!! These things are AMAZING. One of my great friends introduced me to LocoPops the first time we hung out. They are a local place in Durham and now in Raleigh. Several weeks ago we went to the one in Durham after our Sunday lunch and then over to Oval Park in the West Club neighborhood. It was a fun time UNTIL HattieJo had a MELTDOWN, like she has never done in public before, so we decided it was best to leave and head to the park! She had missed her nap and I guess was just pushed over the edge after a while.

.porchtime.

One of the many things that I thoroughly enjoy about our home is the screened in back porch that is HUGE! That is where we play on rainy days, colder days, and any ole day really! HattieJo really loves to play with her playhouse and her picnic table! She is now able to climb on and off the picnic table on her own and does well with it.
