.HJ's Thanksgiving.

HJ's preschool did a Thanksgiving family picnic and they sang a couple of songs too! I planned to go, but then something came up at school that I couldn't leave campus, I was so sad. Here are some pics.

Cooking with Gmommy

For the past several years, my parents have come to us for Thanksgiving. My mom has done all the cooking and my dad and Andrew are in charge of frying the bird! The day starts the day before with food prep, then on Thanksgiving morning me and my sister do a 5k with some friends, watch the parade and dog show while all the rest of the cooking gets done. We have always been blessed to have friends come and join our family to eat all the deliciousness too! Such a great day! Here are HJ and AP helping Gmommy cook!

When Poppa was visiting he would take the big whip outside and AP was fascinated or maybe scared?!? of it....but as soon as Poppa would come inside AP would want to play with 'da whip

.Little Shoppers.

Last year the kids weren't that into looking through the sales papers for Christmas goodies, but boy did they love it this year! ....HJ would sit with a pen and circle the things she liked (EVERYTHING that was girly!) and AP would just say, "you buy me dis for Cistmas"

Poppa...the great babysitter

Poppa came for a visit in November and it was so fun to have him here! He and Andrew did a bunch of hanging out, riding horses, and little projects around the house. One night he even let Andrew and I sneak away for dessert and to visit some friends who had just had a baby!

Ok, so I have been MIA and its time to get back at the good ole blog! So I will have to spend a bit playing catch up from all that has been going on in the lives of the Hoppers.

So to get started, our dishwasher bit the dust in November, this was on the tail end of our fridge plummeting to its death while we were on a trip. Nothing like coming home to a rotten smell...yuck! So that's right 2 appliances in 2 months...the joys of owning a home. While Andrew was installing the new dishwasher AP was all up in it and wanting to help. It was so cute. He kept saying, "Daddy, I help you do that work with my tools!"

I am so thankful for his love and the way that he leads our family! We are blessed!
